Recently in Sandi Life Update Category

Sorry I haven't been around for the last few days of our Vegas Vacation, but there has been so much going on that I really just didn't have time to write. But I will make it up to you, we are home now so I will get you all caught up on what we have been up to....

I was last telling you about our Friday night at The Green Door Sex Club, so now onto Saturday when we went to the Fetish & Fantasy Halloween Ball.  This is the first party/event we went to since we got here that actually started relatively early... 10pm and attendance peaked at about midnight. Now we were expecting 3000 people and our estimate was that there were 1500 - 1800 people there. Although everyone was to be in costume or fetish attire there was definitely more fantasy costumes than fetish wear. Now I personally like fantasy costumes (especially when you see some of the costumes that were there), but some "fetish die-hards" were disappointed that there wasn't more true fetish costumes there. Some of the costumes were amazing, you wouldn't believe the time some people spent putting them together. We will have pictures up really soon, I promise!

The crowd was a very attractive 20ish (which I heard is younger than in past years). The continuous stage shows like the Fire Effects, and BDSM demo were fun to watch, especially the Men of Playgirl. The music was good, and not too loud like most events like this, and there were bars setup all over so you didn't have to wait very long to get a drink.

Maxim Magazine says that this is "ONE OF 5 EVENTS TO ATTEND BEFORE YOU DIE" which was part of the reason we went, but even though we enjoyed ourselves very much I don't think I would agree with that statement (maybe in past years it was true, but not this year). 

Last Friday, Ted and I went to check out the "World Famous Green Door". They consider themselves to be an Adult Social Club, and keep some gym equipment on display in order to keep their zoning as a "health club". But the only workouts I witnessed was the couples sex play, mind you they were working up quite a sweat. Directly from their website:

Now, I have to tell you this place is huge, 6000 sq ft. downstairs and another 12,000 sq ft. upstairs. Even after Matt gave us the VIP tour (as he gives all new couples) we still got lost a couple of times, but just wandering around checking things out is part of the fun. This place is clean and nicely laid out with a couples only area downstairs as well as upstairs, a separate dungeon area where all are invited and the night we were there they had a Master doing a demo which was very erotic to watch. You can peek into all of the different areas and watch the acton (if you are not invited to join in) through beaded doorways to a black mesh window covering, which made it non-obtrusive to watch... nothing worse than interrupting the "show".

Cost is a reasonable $55/cpl., Single males are $90 (Sun-Thurs) and $110 (Fri-Sat), which included the upstairs VIP area for visitors to Vegas (hint if you join American Lowlife they offer a coupon which will get couples in for $40). We were there on a Friday night and there were about 100 couples and 50-60 single males (who were kept in control of quite well). They keep staff at both of the couples only entrances as well as have staff wandering around to keep any problem guests in check (of which we did not see any). If you ever have a question, there is never a problem finding a staff member to ask, plus you can always ask one of the two lovely bartenders (one downstairs and one upstairs).

Great club that you must visit if you are in Vegas. Next up will be our review on the Fetish Fantasy Ball we went to on Saturday (Warning: Ted took lots of pictures at this one).... Sandi

Hush Club in Vegas is a self proclaimed "Sex Club" not a "Swingers Club". Basically the difference seems to be that it is a place to go and have sex, and watch others have sex. From what we saw that was what was going on. There were about 6 couples and 2 single guys the night we went (mind you it was a Wednesday so we did expect it to be quiet) which is a nice ratio, and the couples mainly stayed to themselves in one area and watched each other engage in different forms of sexual acts. There are windows with one way mirrors into most of the different areas for watching, and a completely separate area where only couples were allowed, but singles could watch from discreet windows.

It was nicely layed out into different areas with a central bar/dance area with a stage and strip pole for those of us who were so inclined it is a BYOB as they do not have a liquor license or they will sell you soft drinks or water. Very clean and we saw staff quickly go change sheets on some of the used bed areas.

Nice place with friendly guest and staff. I would go back.... Sandi

Well this update is not quite as exciting as the last few have been... We dropped our friend Bill at the airport Sunday morning and decided we needed a couple of days to rest up from all of the partying. Lots of shopping, got some new club clothes which I am planning to wear when we hit some more clubs Wednesday (Hush Club) and Friday (The Green Door).

Ted wanted me to tell you about all of the cars I would not let him buy at Barrett Jackson... like the brand new dragon drag racer that sold for $7000 (now I have no idea what he would do with it), and the 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera that was stolen from Nicolas Cage and then completely restored, that sold for $52,000 (now that one I did have to touch just to say I did). Plus too many others to mention, a lot of which sold for less than $20,000, needless to say he wants to come back next year with a bidders pass this time.... Sandi

Now onto the Vegas update I promised you yesterday... The Saturday "Perfect LV" party was held at the top of THEHotel (between Mandalay Bay & the Luxor). So you can imagine the incredible view, well the view inside the party was just as incredible... the guests were beautiful, well dressed and friendly people. But, as seems to be normal in most clubs the music was too loud to be able to talk without yelling, but it is a regular night club with the "Swingers" party taking over a corner of the club so they don't have much control over the music.

The washrooms did however give me the most unique experience I have ever had... now get your mind out of the gutter... no I did not have sex in the washroom. You need to picture this... it is pretty dark in there (not sure how a lady is supposed to fix her makeup when she can't really see herself in front of the mirror). Then you go into the bathroom stall which is a fair size room with a wooden door and a dim spot light which highlights the toilet (don't worry I will not be getting graphic here). The toilet faced the floor to ceiling windows looking out over the strip and another hotel, so you basically do your business facing this window looking over everything. Definitely gave me a "I'm being watched" feeling... now I am sure it is one way glass but I could not shake the weird feeling it gave me :-).

Aside from the washrooms, which if you can get over the being watched feeling is pretty cool, there was one major complaint.... the cost of the drinks. I guess I am too thrifty with my money, but when Ted handed me a glass of wine and told me it was $20, I thought that was a little much for 2 drinks, but it is a great view. Then he laughed and said that it was $20 EACH for a glass of wine... I can buy a bottle or two of wine for that. But again... Great View... guess you have to pay for it somehow.

Time to start giving you updates on what Ted and I have been up to here in Vegas... just because we are not home does not mean we are not working behind the scenes. Last Friday we went to the American Lowlife club party beside the strip at Krave. Went there with a "good friend" of ours, Bill, who tagged along on part of our holiday to go to Barrett Jackson. There was a huge bar area where you could hang out and meet other guests, a dance floor and for the more adventurous, a stage area to show off your stuff with two pillars where a couple of really cute girls were shaking up a storm. We finally left at around 2am (things go on late in Vegas) and this guy followed the three of us almost all the way back to our car wanting to join in on our party.... but we didn't let him, and it was a good thing since when we got back to the Bed & Breakfast, where we are staying, there was already an "after party" going on which was just about to go out to the hot tub.

We had a great time at the dance, but now found out that it will be their last party at that venue... guess it is time for something new. Then we got invited to the Saturday night party held by Perfect LV.... you will have to wait for tomorrow to find out about that one.... I know I can be such a tease.... Sandi

So have you been wondering where I've been? What I have been up to? No? Well you should have been, because Ted and I are in VEGAS!!! Yes, we have snuck away to Vegas, and have spent the last couple of days touring around the Barrett Jackson car show & auction. No, don't worry Ted is not going to buy me a new car... even though I deserve one. We just wanted to check it out. We still have access to our emails, and will respond to them as soon as we can, plus we will be updating content on the site as well as keeping you updated as exciting things go on down here (like the swingers party we went to last night), so keep an eye on this page. It's official... I know it is still a long way away, but we have set the date for our next GoWild Party with Club 2250 and wanted to make sure you marked it in your calendar. It will be on April 24 & 25 and the theme once again is Mardi Gras Madness (it is so popular that we just had to do it again for the 3rd year in a row). I hope everyone had a great Canada Day and for those Americans out there have a great Fourth of July this weekend. We had a very busy weekend, starting off with Ted decided that I needed practice for this weeks "Steak and a BlowJob" day, so Friday we BBQ'd some steaks had a bottle of wine and then I guess you can figure out the rest. So I guess I am all ready for Friday when it is the official "Swingers Steak and a BJ" day (the first Friday in July).... Don't forget it.
