Swingers Clubs vs Strip Clubs...

So why are strip clubs ok, but swingers clubs frowned upon? I was reading an article today about a swingers club trying to get approval to open in Springfield, Oregon and they are just not welcome. Meanwhile, there are strip clubs all up and down the street... so what is the big deal? Residents are worried that swing clubs attract prostitution... but strip clubs don't?
