We have just recieved an email from one of your customers through our
home email.Could you please tell me how this guy would have recieved
this information.This is the second time information that I regard as
private has been violated.We had someone call our phone # and leave a
message regarding our add.We have a 12 yr old daughter that uses this
email and having someone send graphic pictures is a concern.I could
forward this email once I have your address.Could you get back to us
as soon as possible.

- Would be better if ads could have a search feature for age grouping. When looking for another couple in our own age group we were exhausted by looking through hundreds of ads for young couples in their 20's who (as we quickly found out) have no interest in getting together with a couple of middle age swingers. When you have profiles filled out, you could add an option to fill out for an age group that people fall into and then have a search option like "Looking for people (1) under 30, (2) 30-50, (3) over 50, or (4) don't care"!!

- Changing member pics is a very daunting task with your pic submission method, especially for bronze members. We can delete first but can't return to ad new pics. At Club-Prive or Club Feelgood or Club Sensations the task is much simpler. You may want to check into this.
Now I will have to wait 16 more days before being able to change the pics again...but next time I will just delete the whole lot.

- Dear Sandy,
There is a big bug in the system. The AD# on the login page and the actual AD# is different. This acts very confusing. If we use AD# from login page, the search won't be able to find anything. For example, my AD# on welcome page is ****** but my actual AD# is ******. I just received few complaints, ad also received another e-mail with similar issue. Please fix this problem, or most of the people will be pissed of on each other in very short period if time.

- We have had on going problems with viewing pictures on your site. We used to be able to turn off our anti virus software and that would correct the problem, now it does not help. We are members on other sites such as Adult Friend Finder and it and the other sites work fine for pictures even with the anti virus software enabled. Any suggestions? We have also been getting a page from Apache showing up instead of your page. It tells us you are using their software but have no content.

- Your e-mail reply form informs me that photograrphs are attached, but your members who respond informs me that there are no photo. Since I checked the settings using the instructions as directed by your Tools/help. can you explain?

- Sandi, I just logged on to browse the ads, but when I submitted my name and password I was sent to a page with a box recognizing me and telling me my numbers and having a link to change my info. But, no other links, no way to get to the ads. The only way out is to back up, but then I lose my login information. I've browsed many times before without this problem. I read your FAQs about losing navigation buttons, but I see your red links box right now, just not on that page after I sign in. Any suggestions?

I just recently bought a Gold membership and have been trying to get into Sandi's Message Board. I'm able to log into the members area with my username and password, but when I try and log into the message board with the same username and password, I get a message that either the username is inactive, or the password has expired. Can you help me out?

- I feel that your members are a bunch of hypocrits. This also includes you & your husband. I've tried to meet people through your magazine & ahve even read your advertisement. Why don't you all just say no single males. This way, I'd already know that I'm not wanted here. Ifeel that I've been treated very poorly by your customers & wish to be taken off of your membership. If you don't do anything to solve this double standard, I feel you'll be out of busines in a few weeks.

A couple of things here.... the ONLY way a person would get your home phone number is if you gave it to then in your ad. There is an option to place your phone number with your ad.... I checked yours and it is filled with 000000's which leads me to assume that you removed it from there since the system does not automatically insert 0000000000's in the format that yours is in...
Second thing, I checked your ad and it is set to show in the hard copy of the magazine... here is the text from the ad placement page....
Do you want your ad to be placed in the hard copy of my magazine for FREE as well as online?
(Note: Placement in the paper version of my magazine is subject to space availability).

No
By checking No, your ad will NOT be placed in my magazine as a TrystBox (snail mail) or Direct Email ad (with your email address printed).
I checked and your ad is in the current issue as a direct Email ad.... If you don't want it to show up again (but there is nothing I can do about the issue that is already printed) , you should check the above option as "no" instead of yes on the page that you use to update your ad.... I am VERY carful to explain all of the ad placement options on the ads pages.... PLEASE take some time to read and review the options you checked to make sure there are no further problems.... Sandi

Back to you at last.... we we're in discussions with the programmer on the concept and her concern is that for ever search field we add... it slows down the rest of the searches as well.... we have been trying to stay away from a "profile" site with all the work already done for you because I feel you can learn more from reading a simple ad that you can from letting the computer do all the work.... plus if your only searching 30 -50 and the is a really great ad where the person is 29 05 51 you could miss it.... I have become aware that one or more unscrupulous companies have been sending bulk email (SPAM) which appears to originate from my web address.
This is as upsetting to me as I know it is to you.
It seems that it is very easy for these people to make their emails look like they have originated somewhere else, and I have been unlucky enough to have been targetted by such a company.
Tryst Magazine does not send unsolicited emails, nor do I share the email addresses of my Members with any other organization.

In order to delete a reply to you ad, you need to reply back to it... once you have replied to it the delete option magically appears :-) .... Sandi

It's easy.... log into the Bronze Members area.... click on ads on the tool bar and click on Check My Mail Box.... Sandi

Agreed, there are lot of sites out there that give free members more access than I do, but they all have clubs that pay their Internet bills. I only have my site and to be honest, the intent of the Bronze membership is not to give everyone unlimited access but to prove to you that I do a good job on my site, have thousands of pages of useful information and maybe get you to become a Gold or Silver member for a while so I can actually pay some of my bills :-) .... and just for the record, Bronze members can update their ad, including photos once every 7 days, not every 16 .... BUT, If you would like to add them now, just send them to me and I will do it for you... because that is what customer service is all about.... Sandi

know the problem... you have Norton Safe For The Web (or web security or what ever else they might call it) on your computer... I would bet money on it....
It will be in your system tool bar... turn it off ( but don't turn off your anti virus) restart IE and it will work ..

Actually your ad number IS ******.... your user ID number is #######.... both are completely different and used for two different functions on the site.... When you log in it says "For your reference your user # is 23819" no where does it reference your Ad number when you login.... (UPDATE: I have added the line to reference your Ad # as well as your User #, so now you see both when you log in).... Sandi

The area code search became redundant after I added the postal code/distance search.... I have left it as an option for Gold And; Silver members as an added bonus to them... Sandi

Sure can... you need to temporarily turn off you Norton Fire wall while your on my site... that should fix the problem... if not PLEASE let
me know and I will dig further....

They look fine from my end... give this a try
http://www.trystmag.com/guest/toolshelp/problems.html once you upload new ones.... they may not show up for a while... but if you see them on the upload results screen... they are actually there even though you can't see them ( it's a browser issue) .... give it another try after you try the above changes and make sure you are using the latest version of IE.....

If you did not login using the "Log into Member's Area And; move my Ad to the front of the Searches:" option your ad is not moved to the front and is most likely lost somewhere a hundred pages of so down the list. FYI, there are about 30 pages of new ads paced or updated every single day so it does not take long for an ad to get lost...

That is a strange one. It sounds like your system has cached a bad copy of my site and keeps feeding to you... Give this a try http://www.trystmag.com/guest/toolshelp/problems.html Most browser come broken right out of the box and this should fix most of the problems...

Actually it is available from outside my members area, just click on the "Magazine" link on the red nav bar and then click on "How to Place a Magazine Ad" From inside my members area, on the Blue nav bar just click on the "Ads" and then click on the "Place a Magazine Ad" option... Sandi

This type of problem is usually caused by a Firewall being installed on either your computer or the computer that is receiving the file attachments. It can either be a software firewall (the Norton one seems to cause the most problems) or a hardware firewall like a router. If you have Norton installed try disabling it. I assume of course that you are running the latest version of either Netscape or IE ( preferred) ...

That's easy for Gold and Silver Members.... impossible for Bronze (Free) Members. On the blue Members Nav bar... just click on Tools/Help and select "Change Password" ....

Sounds to me like you have a Firewall program installed. Norton Internet Security or Safe For The Web is usually the culprit. If you disable it in your system tray the Navigation Bar should pop right back... Sandi

Each reply that you send out is also copied to you so you know your reply was sent. The big problem seems to be that some people don't know their own Email address. I get a dozen "bounced" Email replies every day from members that type in the wrong information or close their Email account and forget to change it online....Sandi

Hotmail (and everyone else these days) seems to lose about 10 percent of the mail that goes out. We regularly track Emails through our own Hotmail account and what does not get lost, inexplicably ends up in the trash box (after dozens of copies of the same Email going through OK)... Check your Spam filters...Hotmail seems to change the rules without telling anyone... Sandi

Just click on the "Delete Photo" option on the same page that you use to upload you photo. Your browser might show it still there after you delete it(browsers are pretty dumb)but trust me, once it's deleted no one else can see it(and it will be gone next time you log in)...Sandi

You need to have "show photos" turned on in you browser... If that does not fix it then I'm betting you have "Norton Internet Security" installed on your computer. It thinks the photos are bad and turned them off without even asking you... If you disable it from your task bar I'm sure the pics will show up, they always do...Sandi

Sounds like an AOL problem (it usually is...) give this a try
http://www.trystmag.com/guest/toolshelp/problems.html and make sure you are NOT using AOL browser and are using Internet Explorer... the latest version ... it usually fixes all of the AOL problems (95% of all the problems that occur on my site are from AOLers... that should tell everyone something about the quality of their service :-( ..... The message board takes up to 24 hours to update the user log file.... I check and you are now there so it should work BUT.... you need to login using the exact login and password I just sent you... remembering that my site in mostly case sensitive.... the message board is 100 % case sensitive and will not let you in if you are not exact.... Sorry, but I have no control at all over whether my members are "hypocrites" or not.... Just like I have no control over how you as a member present yourself on my site... and I don't want to. All I do is provide the venue and it is up to you to spell and grammar check your own messages and present yourself in a positive light. AND it is up to the rest of the members to either meet you or not.... What else do you want me to do.... I can't personally meet every single person that joins and again, I don't want to.
BUT, I can comment on my own personal ad (remember you brought it up) and I have just taken it off line for the simple fact that even though it very politely said that Ted and I are not looking for single guys.... We got at least 4-5 replies a week from singles and most of them started out... I know you're not looking for singles (at least it proves that they can read) BUT... when your "women" sees the size of my dick and what I can do with it..... I paraphrased that (and left out all the typos)... but I'm sure you get the idea, and you can guess the rest.... It is no wonder that most couples that ARE looking for singles soon turn their ad off shortly after they place it and just reply to ads that interest them. The one time we forgot to put "Sorry no Singles" in our ad... we got almost a hundred relies in a 24 hour period.... I don't have the solution.... but I have most certainly identified the problem, as for being out of business in a few weeks, my site has been online continuously for almost 10 years and I sill have members that joined in the first few weeks... I must be doing SOMETHING right.... You might ask yourself if the problem is really with me?
As you have requested I have deleted your membership, but if you're going to have success ANYWHERE... you need to learn how to market yourself properly! ... Sandi
